Hotel Metropol

I had a great experience with my wife at this hotel. The room was very clean, and housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. The staff were super friendly and always helpful. We really felt welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Staying with a large group for the hotel's proximity to the Festspielhaus. Very pleasant staff. There is no character to the rooms as it is basically a business style hotel but they are super quiet, and very clean. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the showers are great. All my basic boxes ticked. Breakfast buffet is very plentiful. My only wish would be to have a kettle in the room for hot drinks. I understand the reason I was given for there not being. Old building which might not cope with everyone boiling kettles. I would happily stay again.

Absolutely disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Mold and dirt in the bathroom, heavily soiled shower curtain, unpleasant odor, no hairdryer Toilet paper placed on a dirty bin, toilet brushes and bins unhygienic Breakfast: Clean cutlery was placed on chairs before being set on the tables Insects in the room, elevators with bad smell, ventilation barely working Not recommended! I need another vacation just to forget about my one night there.
