Hotel Michelangelo

Found this lovely hotel on a random journey down the coast of Italy. Unexpected stop on our visit to the Adriatic Sea. Very clean, secure parking, lovely view of the ocean. Only criticism is no AC, but was able to open the door for a nice ocean breeze during the evening. Excellent breakfast and excellent service.

We stayed for 4 nights in a room with a balcony and sea view. It was a truly amazing experience. They have underground parking with large spaces, the hotel is really nice and modern. The common areas both inside and outside have beautiful designs with plants and palm trees. The rooms are spacious and also really modern, with lots of fancy lights, curtains controlled with buttons directly from your bed, big mirrors on the walls. The view was spectacular, we could even see the sunrise directly from the balcony. The usage of the rooms can be seen especially on some finishings, like light switches which come out of the walls, otherwise nothing to complain about, overall clean and nice rooms. The breakfast is rich, with lots of choices, kind waiters, and delicious bakeries. The pool is neither too modern nor too big, but more than enough, it was never too crowded. The hotel is a few steps away from the beach, and even though it has dedicated sunbeds, they are not included in the price and are really expensive.

Was there for a week in September. Sadly was end of the season so they have closed their pool. But they have bikes which you can use for free! The staff didn’t speak good English. But the food. Ah, the food! Sooo amazing. Incredible. You can stay there just for the food - so tasty and they present it in such a nice way. And the waiters make you feel so nice. We met there also the Al Pacino look-alike. The staff at the restaurant is so funny and nice and friendly. Also the beach is nearby - a couple of minutes walk. The beach has really nice, smooth sand. Overall I highly recommend. Would love to go back again there.
