Hotel Midtown Richardson

The hotel was beautiful, neon, helped me with everything. He took his time to explain it thoroughly. I truly appreciate his service and professionalism. I also came back a few days later to extend my stay longer and Manuel helped me get the best deal, Extend my room and checked on me each time he saw me. Cleaning service staff were really nice. Location was in the heart of everything. Can ride 10-25 minutes to all other sites I wanted to see

I had high expectations when I booked the hotel. From the photos provided in Agoda's website, there will be 2 big and 1 small windows for the Deluxe Double Room (1st photo ). I booked the room as I was specially looking for a room with windows. However the actual room that I stayed in recently only had a small window at the corner (2nd photo). There should be a sitting chair at the writing table (3rd photo). But there is none in my room. I can only sit on the sofa whenever we need to use the writing table (2nd photo). There are only 3 hangers and they are unremovable (4th photo). This is so the unconvenient. There are also insufficient hooks for hanging our clothes, both in the room and the toilet. The location is great. The lobby is nice and spacious. The self service luggage holding area is nice. Overall the stay is not bad. But I felt cheated that the window in the room is so small despite I pay higher price for it. I felt so angry that I found that there should be a sitting chair at the writing table after my stay with the hotel when I looked back on their posting in Agoda.

The hotel staff were genuinely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The location is convenient and the pricing is reasonable for what you get. However, there's a significant pest control issue that potential guests should know about. I stayed in room 321 for two nights without problems, but on the third day discovered a cockroach. When I requested a room change, I was moved to room 345, only to find another roach sitting on the in-room safe immediately upon entering. If you can tolerate sharing your space with these uninvited guests, the other aspects of the hotel are decent.
