I recently stayed at the Millennium hotel and I cannot recommend it enough! The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The real standout for me was the restaurant, which had the most amazing sea view and mountain view. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I loved being able to enjoy my meal while taking in the stunning scenery. Overall, my experience at the Millennium hotel was top-notch and I will definitely be returning in the future. 5 stars all the way!
Although the Millennium is one hotel, there are two separate buildings. One next to the lake and the other just set back as you can see from my photographs. We arrived for lunch, which was very good and plentiful. After we had finished lunch, our guide checked us in and gave us our room keys. My room was in the building right by the lake, and my room was on the third floor and accessed by a lift or stairs. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed and quite a large bathroom, which had a great showeI. I had only two issues with the room: 1 the pillows are too deep, and they don't have any others. So I had to improvise as that pillow would have made my neck issue worse: 2 if you want to hang your clothes, you better bring some hangers as the room only had one solitary coat hanger. The air-conditioning worked fine, as did the WI-FI. We ate dinner at the hotel, looking out again over Lake Ohrid. Dinner was plentiful and very good. Albeit the fish had bones in it. However, it was very tasty. Breakfast was Ok. The usual cheeses, meats, tomatoes, bread, etc. Some fruit would have been nice. At the least, the coffee was better than the previous hotel I stayed in. Those staff I came into contact with were helpful. Although the hotel has a reception, I never saw it staffed. To checkout, I just left my key on the reception desk. I would return to this hotel.
Completely being ignored by the staff while other guests (most likely Albanian) were served. Luckily I was in good company so that helped me cover 30+ minutes waiting to be able to order. The view on the terrace is great.
