Hotel Milton Roma

Many thanks to the lovely young lady working at Hotel Milton who stepped out to the sidewalk yesterday and went above and beyond to help us with directions! She very kindly pointed us in the right direction while telling us what areas to avoid. I'm happy to say we made it safely to our destination, lol. Hotel Milton is lucky to have such a kind and conscientious staff member! We will definitely be looking at this hotel for future trips.

So sad. The room was ok, good bed, and shower. I was early so no room until 5, fair enough. I stored my luggage and took the ten-minute walk to the Coliseum. I had a nice lunch and damn near died in the 36c weather. F a coffee pod it would cost 2/3 euro. I passed as basic tea and coffee are generally included, I'm not paying extra. I set a wake-up call with the front desk. They did not call. However, when my driver arrived they did call and stated the phones were not working. But if the phones are not working then how did they call me to say the driver was here? The Front desk person did grab a breakfast bag of goodies as I had to leave early so that was nice, and then charged me an extra 7.5 euro visitor tax. Just paid and left with my bag of juice box and yogurt. I'll try a different place next time. Note: 10 min walk to coliseum.

Horrible service, and ignorant staff! The cleaning staff left our room unlocked for the entire day, and when complaining about it to the reception, they refused to apologize "for other people's mistakes". The garden bar staff tried to overcharge for the drinks. The lobbyist seemed bothered when I checked in. I sent a complaint to the management by emial, never received an answer, never received an apology for the hotel leaving all my belongings up for stealing to anyone with access as the room was unlocked. Breakfast decent and rooms ok. Garden bar very cute, but bad service. Best thing was location, but honestly, save your money and take yourself to someplace a customer is respected. Would not recommend.
