I had a wonderful time staying at this modern and charming hotel. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the central location offered easy access to a lovely shopping street, bars, and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in old town Munich.
Great hotel! Great location, nice staff, and also a very nice room. Breakfast had a big selection as well. One thing that weird was the cleaning team just decided to walk in without knocking on the door first! Also the 12 euro gin and tonic at the bar wasn’t really worth it. But the hotel was great and will stay again next time I’m in Munich.
Our room was on the small side but with workable AC, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast available but we preferred the local cafes. The location is superb, at the south end of Marienplatz, which houses the terrific Glockenspiel every day at 11, 12 & 5 pm. This area is also the gateway to so many more restaurants, bars, and shops. The Hotel Mio is in a beautiful and safe location, minutes away from the Sendlinger subway station and only subway stop from the Central Station (aka Munich HBF). We would definitely stay there again.
