Hotel Mir

The hotel service was very attentive and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay beyond hope. The restaurant had a warm and inviting ambiance, and the food was delicious. The hotel offered excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it to others.

twowheeltours stayed in St Lary Soulan for the Haute Route Pyrenees event in July 2022. We had an amazing stay. The staff were extremely helpful, spoke English and offered us an 'at home' stay. The breakfasts were Continental and substantial to fuel us for our rides. The restaurant for dinner at night served fantastic meals with good selections for our vegetarians. They had a secure bike storage area and plenty of parking for our vehicles. Thank you to Tony and Baptiste for the great stay. See you next time.

Hotel is well located within few meters to the best restaurants in town and shopping stores. Staff is very professional, courteous and willing to help. Room was clean and very nice. Well decorated. Bath was great and confortable. The only drawback is that there is no drinking water available and no coffee maker in the room. Our mattress was in need of a change. The housekeeping service was great and left the room as perfect as it was at the time we arrived. I can´t let pass an experience we had with the Restaurant´s responsible. We ask to the young girl at the reception for a light dinner, something like an Omelet and salad. I understand that the restaurant had a menu formula, but since we were staying at the hotel we just asked if our request was possible, it was a simple answer yes or no. The girl did everything to give us an answer, however the restaurant Manager did not responded to her, nor he did to us; to conversely he was rude and unprofessional talking to my partner and ordering her to get back to were we were sitting, and wait for his answer, we waited about 25 minutes. He never came, there was only one table and no body else at the restaurant! We decided not to wait longer and went out and spend our money on another restaurant, at the end we were glad he treated us as we end having a great dinner in a restaurant that appreciate our presence. It is a shame that a single person and his mediocre demeanor tarnish the effort and professionalism his coworker made to treat guest with respect. With this guy exception, everything else was amazing, the guy at the breakfast, the girl at the reception, thank you for your kindness.
