Hotel Mirador Papagayo by LIVVO

Great room with sea view. We were warmly and professionally welcome/helped by Natalia and Alessandra. It's very convenient to book a car for one day, from the hotel desk. Magnolia from the rental Agency comes directly in the morning and is extremely professional. It's then easy to drop the car back at the hotel in front of the resort. The breakfasts were excellent. Everything was clean and the staff very professional. The location is quiet so very perfect for a good rest and a resourceful sleep. We recommend!

This hotel is beautiful. The majority of the staff are so helpful and friendly however, the pool bar ladies are very glum and it's apparent that they do not enjoy their jobs. The hotel is spotlessly clean and a lovely space both indoors and outdoors to relax. I did struggle with the food a bit as I'm vegan, so managed with salad, vegetables, fruit and potatoes. It was a lovely spread each day though.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent, the small pool was heated and therefore very nice. The evening entertainment for kids was fun. The waiting staff was nice but we had an incident with one of them and the staff at reception was not the most welcoming and helpful - especially when asking information on our transfer to the airport. Food for lunch or dinner was not good. It wasn’t the worst but I certainly was not looking forward to it and there was zero choice for kids. The other pools in the hotel were freezing cold and because the place is so windy, no one was using the cold pools. I think it’s more than reasonable to give 3 stars but we were a little bit disappointed considering the price for this place.
