Hotel Miralago

Hotel Miralago Cernobbio offers breathtaking views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains, with Harry’s Bar, the iconic Italian restaurant, conveniently located next door. The rooms, while compact, are functional, and the views overlooking the lake and mountains are simply exquisite. Service was outstanding…thank you!

Overall very good experience. The location super close to the lake is perfect as are the views from the restaurant. Walking distance to the ferry is just a few minutes as are many restaurants. The service was very good, all staff are friendly. On the first night we checked in very late and the restaurant was already closed but one of the staff members were so nice to bring us bread with a cold cut plate. The interior is very classic and traditional which we like in Italy. The rooms however are too small. No space to open 2 suitcases. The bathroom way too small. The toilet was placed close to the shower, im tall and could not get my legs in there. I had to use the public toilet on the first floor… The breakfast was good but the selection limited. Also no cheese and meat was in the standard buffet so you had order a plate with cheese, beef and ham. This was free but if you just need 1 item of this then the rest is thrown away. They could include this in the buffet to reduce food waste. Minus these few things we enjoyed our stay here and it was a great beginning of our Italy trip.

Soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can hear even how fly farts in the room next to yours. We were unlucky, while we stayed, in the next room was a couple who probably hadn't seen each other for a long time.... Rooms small. Washrooms old. But fine. Service good. Personal nice. Breakfast is good enough. It costs a lot, but you pay mostly for the view.
