I came here to relax and get away from Lloret de Mar in August. John the receptionist is an absolute star, he helped me with everything, finding a parking for my motorcycle, find a nice place to have dinner, gave me an umbrella! The rooms are not pretentious but for what I spent totally worth it. If I’m in the area I will definitely come back. Thanks John and l Ast hotel for being so welcoming.
We arrived late after our car had broken down en route to France. We were hot, sweaty and unhappy but were met by John on Reception who is charming. Accommodated all of our needs, recommended local places to eat and visit. It is a great hotel, pool is lovely breakfast good, superb shower. All of the staff were lovely. Made a bad situation a very pleasant one and would definitely go back.
Hotel from the 70s with a very doubtful renovation. Clean rooms (not the terrace) but it needs a real updating. After arrival, we were told we had no towels (apparently problems with dry cleaners), but they were on the way. We were given 1 towel to share between 2 of us. We went to bed with no towels and we had no towels in the morning. 100 euros for a bedroom with no air conditioning and no towels? Definitely not worth that. What a shame.
