Hotel Miramare

We had an amazing experience with the Miremare Hotel. I was traveling with my two adult children and one teen son, they accommodated us with one queen bed and two pull out beds. It was a little tight with all of the beds in there, as expected but the view was splendid. We could see the ocean to our right from our patio and one window, and then the view of the town just ahead. The weather was a little cooler as we traveled in late March, but we were able to sleep with our windows and patio door open the whole night and hear the bell tower in the mornings. The hotel is a a classic Italian building, old style elevator, which was cool! It is kept very clean and in proper working order, the maids come to clean the room daily, the management is on site to oversee the day to day operations and the staff work hard to make sure that everything is clean and tidy. They let us use an iron, and unfortunately, it stopped working, so one of the staff offered to iron our clothing for us, which was so kind! They also had helpful instructions about parking in the area and re-heated my teen’s pizza for him for a late snack! It was fun to enjoy the street market directly across the street on Thursday morning and there is both a small botega and a pharmacy conveniently located behind the hotel in case you need any late night, snacks or pharmacy items. I will say the highlight of the experience was Giovanni in the restaurant for breakfast every morning. He really brought the life every morning, he had our table ready the first day and immediately offers coffee to the guests. Giovanni is lively and kind, and we enjoyed our time at the hotel even more because of him! Definitely would return!

Hello! Everything was wonderful at this hotel, nice view with balcony, no noise from outside or next rooms, good and yummy food, very nice people at the desk, clear room no complain I love everything 😊 the price for the room was very cheap as well. Nice bed

It is in a very nice location, you will be close to many adorable shops and restaurants. I just wouldn’t choose it again. If I sacrifice some amenities for some affordability, I want at least comfort. The AC doesn’t cool at all. Our room stayed at 25 the entire time even when set to the lowest temperature (16) even at night. Secondly, you can hear everything. First night a DJ playing overly loud music until almost 1 and because this hotel already has poor noise proofing, it sounds like a club in your room. You can also hear the people upstairs and in the hall. Third and this isn’t really their fault but if you think those things are worth it for the proximity to the beach, well it looks pretty but the water is polluted, badly. So even what would make it a good trade off is just not good. We had breakfast and it was ok. Didn’t interact much with the staff so I couldn’t say anything about service but they seemed pleasant. No cups other than two plastic cups, no coffee in room, the rooms are small, and the price might be cheaper than others but overpriced for what it is. You’re paying simply for location. Next time I would choose something else even if you’re far from the promenade because Rapallo is very nice to walk through anyway. Internet is also not very good.
