Hotel Miramare

Food here was lovely however, the waiter had a vile and unpleasant attitude towards customers and other members of staff. I felt very uncomfortable with him serving and also seeing the way he spoke to others. Such a shame as everything else was perfect.

Disappointing Stay We stayed at Hotel Miramare for the second time, and unfortunately, many of the same issues remain unresolved. The spa facilities have been “under construction” for three years in a row, which is frustrating, especially when this is part of the reason you book the hotel. Breakfast service was consistently disappointing—our coffee orders were wrong every day, and even when we pointed it out, they didn’t bother to correct them. We also had cold water in the shower for two days, which is unacceptable. Despite booking a triple room, the third bed wasn’t even made—we had to do it ourselves. On top of that, there’s no direct beach or pool access, so you have to drive elsewhere to swim. For the price point, it’s hard to justify staying here. The only real highlight is the beautiful sea view, but sadly, that’s not enough to make up for the lack of service and basic amenities. Would not recommend.

I went to Miramare restaurant for dinner by myself. When I asked if I could have dinner somewhere, one of the waiters said, “Sure, you can have a pizza,” and brought me a cocktail menu. I had to ask specifically for a food menu—only to be handed a pizza menu. I eventually asked another staff member (who didn’t seem local), and she finally brought me the full menu. This back-and-forth made the whole dinner unnecessarily long and frustrating. It really makes you wonder how some of the staff get hired and whether the manager or owner is aware of what’s happening. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend it. 😔
