Hotel Miro

I really liked this hotel and loved the location. It worked out perfectly for everything we wanted to do on this trip to Bilbao. From the moment we arrived the staff was attentive and took great care of us from the beginning of our stay until checking out. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start for each day. You’re just minutes from the Guggenheim museum, shopping, and lots of restaurants. A taxi stop is located on this street and city transportation is minutes away. Definitely recommend this hotel 😊

Can’t say enough good things about Hotel Miró. Had a quick one night stay after returning from San Sebastián. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The location of this hotel is down the street from the Guggenheim and you can easily get to it via tram. Additionally it is a nice walk along the river if you want to visit the old town. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Insensitive and disappointing customer service during a medical emergency I unfortunately had to cancel my trip to Bilbao after being admitted to A&E two days before my travel. Despite this, Hotel Miró refused to offer any flexibility, refund, or even partial credit for a future stay. While I understand cancellation policies exist for a reason, most reputable hotels show some level of understanding and compassion when it comes to verified medical emergencies. I was shocked at the lack of empathy and unwillingness to support a guest in such circumstances. This experience left a very bitter impression and I would not recommend this hotel to travelers, especially those who value human decency over rigid policies. There are many other great places to stay in Bilbao — I suggest choosing one that cares about its guests, not just its bottom line.
