Hotel Miyakojima

Among my stays in Japan and particularly Okinawa, Miyakojima and Ishigaki, this property definitely stands out as one of the best. Conveniently located within the city center, you can get to this property from the airport by car in about 15 minutes. Parking is free at the property. There are some nice restaurants, cafes and dessert shops within walking distance of this property and an even wider selection if you drive 5-10 minutes out. The room is really comfortable and very clean. The size is bigger than most rooms you can find in Japan. The room comes with a small cooking area, a laundry area (washer and dryer) and a good size bathroom (with bath tub). The bed were super comfortable and we were always looking forward to a good night's rest after exploring the island. The check-in process is straightforward (you would not meet anyone for it). Just follow the simple steps given by the host and you can enter your room. It is a hassle free process. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay at your property. You can be sure we will be back.

The rooms are spacious, newly renovated, and clean. They contain a lot of amenities, such as a washer, a dryer, a microwave, robes, and slippers. The rental bikes are handy (but a bit rusty). The location is pretty good. It doesn't have a reception (only an office where you can reach the staff).

Great location but I stayed in room 401 and there was a terrible sewerage smell. The staff promptly moved me to 505 which was better but it still had this smell. I think there are piping issues in the building. You can smell it outside the rooms sometimes. Staff were great and kind
