Hotel Mlýn

The hotel has a great location in the town centre. My room overlooked the river, and the sound of the flowing water was a soothing lullaby that helped me sleep well. The window also faced the old town, offering a picturesque view. The cobblestone pavements throughout Český Krumlov are charming but can be tough on luggage wheels. Fortunately, the hotel kindly provides a shuttle service to the bus station.

We were planning to stay here in June 2025. However the local municipality banned all vehicles from being able to enter, and as our bags are heavy and not on wheels that unfortunately meant we had to cancel our stay. However hotel Mlyn advised of this in advance while we still had free cancellation available. In a world where honesty and good ethics are less and less common it is greatly appreciated as they could have easily waited for us to find out in an unpleasant way while maintaining their business. I therefore happily recommend this location for their honesty and customer friendliness and hope other travellers can benefit from their hospitality soon.

If you want a relaxing and good holiday, I recommend this hotel. This place has a perfect location. Very clean and nice rooms. The staff was polite and helpful with all questions. We really liked this hotel and plan to come back here again.
