Hotel Moeesy Blue & Green Oasis Adults Only

The best stay of our two weeks in Croatia! This hotel has incredibly friendly and helpful staff, beautifully decorated rooms and restaurants, a delicious breakfast and a short 10 minute walk from Hvar town. The air conditioning worked really well and they had high end bathroom products in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room service was quick. Our room had an even better view than shown online, and we loved sitting on the balcony, watching the sunset.

One of the most beautiful hotel stays I have experienced. The location on the foreshore of Hvar island was perfect, close to old town restaurants and bars but far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet. The hotel facilities are outstanding, rooms comfortable and clean and the hotel breakfast was amazing. The standout in my opinion was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. We loved having a chat with all of you over the days of our visit and appreciate all the helpful tips, especially from Kristina who made or stay a dream. Highly recommend and hope to return one day.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Moeesy. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable—though on the smaller side and not especially remarkable. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its exterior charm: it looks and feels like a stunning private estate. The beautifully landscaped grounds, perched above the sea, perfectly capture the essence of its "blue and green oasis" name. Located about a pleasant 15-minute walk from the town center, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Hvar, while still being conveniently close to the action. I didn’t try the pools, as the sea—just steps away—offered countless perfect spots for a swim. The gym was a pleasant surprise: impressively equipped with brand-new, top-of-the-line Technogym machines, which is rare for a hotel of this size. For those concerned about noise or power outages (which seem to be common issues in reviews of other hotels in Hvar), rest assured: I experienced neither. There wasn’t a single power cut during my stay, and I even noticed technicians inspecting what appeared to be generators near the fountains in the back—likely part of the hotel's efforts to maintain uninterrupted service. I also didn’t hear any noise from beach bars or parties at night, which made for a restful sleep. The only sound I noticed was the occasional footstep from the room above mine (in the skylight rooms), but it was minimal. Breakfast was excellent—the buffet changed slightly each morning, which was a thoughtful touch. The valet who greeted me at the ferry was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast team provided consistently friendly service. That said, I can't write this review without mentioning Kristina at the front desk. She exemplifies what true five-star hospitality is all about—gracious, intuitive, and effortlessly professional. Her energy clearly sets the tone, as the entire morning staff radiated the same level of excellence and care.
