Hotel Moers van der Valk

What a wonderful hotel reception was superb. Our rooms were all beautiful. Parking was brilliant and the food was also very good only one negative was unfortunately the waiter Berated one of the other members of staff in front of us which made all feel very uncomfortable. there was no need for it. The member of staff was only trying to help us and got into a lot of trouble for it which was unnecessary. Apart from that, we would definitely go again

If in the website is mentioned that restaurant is open until 22:00 then I don't understand why they refuse at 21:40. I'm sorry, I am a business man and sometimes I have to dinner later. Thank you for your comprehension.

Our stay was quite disappointing, and I don't recommend it at all. The room wasn’t very clean—there was dust on the table, the bathroom wasn't spotless, and even the coffee machine and TV had noticeable dirt. The floor was dirty as well. When we checked in late at night, the receptionist seemed reluctant to speak English, which made the process more challenging. The room stayed cold throughout the night, and we couldn't get it to warm up, which was especially concerning since we had our 10-month-old baby with us. To make matters worse, there was no water boiler in the room to warm up milk for our baby. In 2024, that's just unacceptable. The bed was uncomfortable, and the view wasn't great either. I noticed there are rooms that have been renovated, but unfortunately, we were given one with an outdated interior and old furniture. On top of that, the door to the outside on the ground floor wasn’t insulated properly, letting in cold air all night. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired, and I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.
