Excellent Stay at Hotel Momento! Our family of 8 recently stayed at Hotel Momento in Istanbul and had a fantastic experience. The location is absolutely perfect. The service provided was top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. Their hospitality really added to the enjoyment of our stay. The rooms were good, offering all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. While we didn't spend much time in the hotel due to exploring the vibrant city, the room was always a welcoming and cozy place to return to at the end of the day. One thing that stood out was the high level of hygiene maintained throughout the hotel. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made us feel very comfortable and safe. Overall, Hotel Momento is highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul. Great location, excellent service, and clean, comfortable rooms. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to this beautiful city!
Hotel Momento is a nice hotel very close to the usual sights of Sultanahmet. The rooms are clean but the carpets look shabby. Idon't know if that is by purpose or if they are just old. Breakfast is good and Turkish buffet style. Staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had a room with a window to a spiral stair case used by employees of the hotel. Unfortunately they also take their breaks on that staircase having a cigarette, chatting away or listening to music. So it is not advisable to open the window during the day. At night it is quiet, so that might be an advantage to rooms facing the street. So if you spend a lot of time of a day outside it doesn't matter.
The service is bad, the waitress with pony tail was super rude and mean. She was rush to pack and terminate the breakfast, even we were going to make coffee and she turned off the machine in front of the guests. It is unbelievable. In our whole Turkish trip this is the worst experience and she is a disgrace to Turkish service. The other staff are not that mean but dont expect they say Hello or Good day, they dont even smile back. The room is okay but definitely not four stars.
