hotel MONday Premium Ueno Okachimachi

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We requested extra pillows, as we’re used to plumper ones. The rooms were very tidy, the shower was powerful, and the breakfast offered something for everyone. The staff was exceptional—very polite, respectful and helpful. Evening free tea, sake, and ramen added a special touch. We often bought takeout for dinner to eat at the hotel, as we were exhausted from walking all day, so the small restaurant upstairs was a real bonus. We sat at the tables in the restaurant room, it’s a cozy, relaxing space. Just be aware that it closes at 9:30 p.m., so you can’t linger as long as you might like.

There is a Tokyo metro station right next to hotel & another one for areas around Tokyo a bit of walk ten min away. So many cafes around & ofcourse shopping. This was very convenient to live around. I love the ease of it & rooms were big for Tokyo standard. Bath tub was small but I didn’t expect a bath tub & a shower area. Very clean - get the room cleaning it’s very worth it - they do an excellent job but you have to explicitly ask for room cleaning by simply putting a sign out your door before noon. The free ramen noodles in cafe above are real & ok to have with some evening tea watching nice view of sunset within comfort of your hotel. Staff is excellent & efficient. Beds comfy. No complaints.

Except the small room, everything is good. Easy access to the metro/subway. Also, the provide free midnight soba everyday from 8:45PM to 9:00PM and free sake as well at 14F where you can enjoy the unblocked view of the famous Tokyo Sky Tree.
