Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka

Very pleasant place to stay with a luxurious feel. Location was good and close to central attractions and convenient from multiple train lines. The room was of an above average size in comparison to other hotels we stayed at while in Japan. Of note, we would like to thank the female staff member at the Information Desk, who helped us with providing assistance to a man requiring urgent medical attention. Her level of care, patience and compassion was greatly appreciated. Thank you for a great stay

Would definitely recommend and personally stay at again. Rooms have basic decorations but are clean, have updated facilities and service is top-notch. Situated right next to the subway and bus services, opposite Dotonburi and popular shopping districts. A premium price to pay for a basic room but recommended by many for its accessibility, convenience and quality.

Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka completely exceeded my expectations. Not only is it located just a short walk from Dotonbori — the heart of Osaka’s vibrant nightlife and food scene — but it also offers true luxury at an incredibly affordable price. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff are wonderfully friendly and speak excellent English, making everything smooth and comfortable for international travelers. A special shout-out to the front desk: when I needed a taxi last-minute, they not only arranged it immediately but even walked me down personally and made sure the driver knew exactly where I was headed. That level of care is rare and truly appreciated. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with large bathrooms that feel like something out of a high-end spa. Everything is immaculately maintained — you can tell they take real pride in the facility. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the Osaka city skyline was the cherry on top of an already fantastic stay. If you’re looking for a mix of luxury, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality without breaking the bank, Hotel Monterey Grasmere is the place to be. I’ll absolutely be staying here again next time I’m in Osaka!
