Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka

Great Stay for 4D3N! Had a wonderful stay throughout my trip. The room was clean and comfortable. Toiletries provided were of good quality — the shampoo left my hair feeling soft, and the body wash was great too. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities: soft toothbrushes, a headband, comb, and even a shaver were provided. No need bring your own PJ as it is also provided. The bed is moveable with some space underneath, which is convenient if you need extra storage for your items. Hairdryer wasn't very powerful and took a while to dry my hair, can be a bit noisy as it's beside a road, can hear clearly sometimes will get woken up by it as well. Room also came with a kettle and a mini fridge, which was useful. Location wise, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the nearest subway station. There’s a Lawson and a Sundrug Drug Store right next door — great for picking up skincare, supplements, and haircare items. Also within walking distance to bars and nightspots. Very convenient!

Very good value for its location. The room is small like most of the other hotels in Japan, but provided good amenities. Bed is comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Only thing is sound proofing needs improvement. Staff is friendly and allow luggage safekeeping which is a bonus. Duty free shop directly below and very close to many shopping districts. Would recommend!

Stayed here for two nights as the beginning of my three week stay here in Japan. The room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Osaka Station. Polite staff but not the best understanding of English but everything works out with some help from google translate.
