Hotel Mooirivier

Rooms, environment, kitchen, all deserve 5 stars, but for the servicei need to give a separate line. Each of stuff members is helpful, so friendly, and real hard-workers; what is even more amazing, they are not fake [as usually the trained big hotel employees, with full respect for them] To sum up, I give 7 stars. This is the place where, in only 24 hours, me and my husband recharged our batteries full. Quiet environment and its nature is beautiful and fresh even in January's grey days.

It is a beautiful hotel in a tranquil rural area close to nearby towns. There are a lot of walking and cycling routes in the area. The hotel has a large free car park. The wellness area is free for guests and opens from 3 pm until 10 pm with a fantastic sauna, steam room and an infrared cabin. All the staff were really nice and helpful. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel.

Beautiful location at the river and a great base to cycle in this beautiful part of The Netherlands. Overall excellent experience. Room was not super clean and bigger issue was that there’s no airco, as it was warm, we didn’t sleep well. Also internet in the room is poor. Our last morning housekeeping knocked at our door at 9.00AM - while we didn’t check out yet. Nice concept if you book for 2 nights, you have the option to get a free drink instead of having your room done. What’s nice is that there’s a big indoor storage to leave your bikes and you can charge them there as well if they are electric. The terrace is great, with a great view. Food quality is excellent.
