They made my vacation even better than i expected
Unfortunately, terrible. We love our dear friend and tour guide so much and the location of the hotel is great. But, the rooms and amenities are poor and after requesting the hotel to clean our room for two nights, zero response. Let me repeat this, for two nights and three days, after repeatingly begging reception (no English), our room was not cleaned. The breakfast hall cannot cope with the number of people who stay here. Only one elevator works, four out of service. Luckily St Petersburg is an amazing place, this hotel however, horrible. Avoid by all means.
No hot water in a four star hotel!! Despite the fact that this is a basic amenity, the hotel staff don’t seem to be concerned at all, dismissing any complaints, offering no possible solutions, refusing to return part of what we paid(around 15,000 a night!!!) and being incredibly rude. The horrible service undeniably leaves its mark on your holiday. The hotel is constantly crowded with school tours and large groups, so the atmosphere is not pleasant. Additionally, the building is really old, the rooms are outdated, but with no hot water that was the least of our worries.
