Hotel Moskva in Belgrade is truly a gem. The architecture is stunning, blending history with elegance. My room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. The hotel’s location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Belgrade, close to major attractions, shops, and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here for a perfect mix of comfort, style, and convenience. A memorable experience overall.
There are much better hotels to stay at than this one and they are much cheaper. (hotel Lumiere). Hotel Moska has an old smell to it. It was clean and has kept its classic design. The breakfast was good. I enjoyed the pianist playing at all times of the day. The famous cake is nothing special. We enjoyed the chocolate bomb Much better. If you fave the street, guy will hear the traffic and music from the restaurant until 11pm. We visited the spa. The jacuzzi was not hot. I’m used to them being warm. It is a small spa with 4 lounge chairs, sauna and steam room. Beds were large and comfortable.
We were at Hotel Moskva tonight a place I’ve loved since childhood and always considered a symbol of elegance and tradition in Belgrade. Sadly, our experience with a waiter named MİLOŠ was incredibly disappointing. When we politely second time asked for the bill (after waiting quite a while ),with "sorry can we have the bill" he responded with: “I don’t have six hands,” in a rude and dismissive tone. Instead of showing any professionalism or basic courtesy, he continued to argue. He even passed our table carelessly, hit a chair, and didn’t bother to put it back. When my husband tried to point out his behavior, the waiter raised his voice and starting accusing him of yelling not taking care of his own high voice. He did the same to me as well. Rather than de-escalating, he behaved arrogantly and rudely. His behavior was arrogant and completely unfit for such a reputable hotel. Sadly, when we later looked through other reviews, we noticed a pattern many complaints also mention poor service and impolite waiters. This shows that our experience is not an isolated case. Hotel Moskva deserves better. I truly hope the management will take these reviews seriously and work on proper staff training and have the right people. Staff like this can damage the image of a hotel that has always been a pride of Belgrade. A heartfelt thank you to the General Manager for taking the matter seriously and responding to my email with such warmth and genuine care.
