Beautiful hotel and location Just a walk away from Budva Old City but also near a pharmacy and minimarket and with parking facilities. Very polite personnel overall, helpful making reservations in local language, especially Mr. Nikola who helped us out with some plane tickets issues. Our room on 3rd floor right above the restaurant patio was well aired with all windows open, no particular need for air conditioning in June. Small but nice pool.
We booked a studio apartment at this hotel. The room was pleasant, beautiful and spacious. The bedding was comfortable. However, it should be noted that the windows have no shutters and the curtains are not 100% blackout and let the light through, which was annoying to sleep properly at night, especially as the surroundings are also noisy. I also wanted to take a bath, but the piece was missing to stop the water draining out of the tub. I mentioned this to the receptionist, who explained that the problem would not be fixed for several hours. When we came back in the evening, the repair hadn't been made, so we had to insist on being offered an alternative solution, which I think is a bit of a shame for a 4-star hotel. I was also very disappointed to learn that the hotel swimming pool was not open despite the heat. It's also worth noting that some of the products in the buffet seemed to be industrially prepared. What's more, I can't be 100% sure that it came from the hotel's food (although I ate it exclusively), but I had food poisoning the day after my arrival, which somewhat spoiled the end of my stay.
For a four-star hotel, the guest welcoming experience was definitely disappointing. Despite having stayed at many hotels, this was the first time I encountered such a lackluster reception. We went all the way to the front desk, and when we asked where we could park our car, we were told that we could use the covered parking only if we paid €15 per day. In my opinion, a hotel of this standard shouldn’t be concerned with charging for such small extras. Additionally, while other hotels we’ve stayed at included the tourist insurance in the total cost, here we were charged an additional fee. That being said, we would like to thank them for the surprise they prepared for us in the room.
