Hotel Mount Racey Hokkaido

Visited here during winter. The night cable car goes to the top of the mountain where we can view the stars under the clear Hokkaido skies. Still remember the stars up until today. Highly recommended.

We went there for skiing 5 days. It was very local place and not commercial. We purely enjoyed onsen and skiing with friendly coaches. If wants have night life and high end service, this is not the place.

Rooms are clean, decent size and comes with comfy bed and pillow. They have additional wash basin outside the bathroom at the tiny foyer area which is a plus. Good buffet dinner spread with delicious creamy Yubari melons and snow crab. There is a convenience store nearby outside the hotel and another small souvenir shop inside the hotel. This hotel is basically a ski resort and connected to ski facilities so don't expect any night entertainment available, you may not have anything to do at night except to dip yourself in the onsen.
