Hotel Mudra Midtown Suites & Rooms

This place is in a good spot, right on the main road in Kalasa and about a 10-minute walk to the Kalaseshwara temple. It takes around 20 minutes to drive to the Hornadu temple. You can easily find things you need like pharmacies, grocery stores, ATMs, and restaurants nearby. There was parking available in the building. The rooms were nice and clean, and they had plenty of space. The place is decorated nicely with old and interesting things. The view from the windows is lovely – you can see mountains on one side and the pretty roofs of the houses in Kalasa on the other. We especially enjoyed the dinner we had here; it tasted great and like it was homemade. The akki roti was really good, one of the best we've had. It's also interesting that this hotel is managed and run by women. Now for a couple of things that weren't perfect: the bathroom felt a bit damp, even with the exhaust fan on. Also, the elevator wasn't working, so you have to walk up two floors, which might be hard for older people.

We had an awesome experience at this homestay. The hosts Shantha and Pavithra were very warm and friendly. The food is amazing..special mention to the sheer varieties of local food they prepare and the rates are reasonable too. Rooms are tidy too. I would highly recommend this place!
