Hotel Museum Budapest

This is a lovely little boutique hotel. The building is beautiful and lives up to its name. We had 6 people with 3 balcony rooms. There was not much of a view other than other rooftops, but it was nice to have a little outdoor space. Rooms were very clean and decent size, but we definitely appreciated the king beds. Only complaint was the shower was tiny and I kept hitting the faucet with my arms. The free breakfast had a nice selection of hot & cold dishes and definitely surpassed expectations. The location wasn't bad, about a 20min walk from the river depending on your speed, and there were enough restaurants nearby, plus a laundromat within 15min walk. The prices were reasonable especially since we were there during the F1 race. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Museum Hotel in Budapest and really enjoyed our visit. The location is excellent — central and within walking distance of many attractions, including the National Museum and the famous New York Café. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, with good air conditioning (which was much needed in the summer heat!).

My partner and I had a lovely room. The hotel staff were excellent. The walk to restaurants and waterfront is reasonable, but we occasionally took cabs. There are closer, both more expensive, hotels. This was a good compromise.
