Hotel Mystays Premier Akasaka

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this hotel was. Easy to find and check in was smooth. 711 just under the hotel which was very convenient. Walking distance to so much food places. 10min to Harry Potter Cafe. Close to subway as well. Only negative it’s a little uphill but not too bad.

Rooms are a bit small by most Western standards. However the location is excellent. Walking distance from two major metro stations and centrally located. There is also a seven eleven on the bottom floor of the hotel next to the elevator. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well appointed. There is also a self serve laundry on the top floor. The hotel has a healthy breakfast buffet that is very reasonably priced and enjoyable. The 7-11 downstairs was extremely helpful as they had a large variety of excellent healthy ready-to-eat foods and other practical merchandise,

The room itself was pretty okay. However, one thing I did notice is that when I dropped something, the area underneath the cabins just hadn't been cleaned, from what it looked like, for a couple of months, same for the water basin from the toilet; which looked a bit moldy. I accidentally chose the eco-room, which wasn't that much of a big deal, but fresh towels would've been nice since it felt more like a hostel than a hotel this way. The reception staff was okay. Some were helpful; some did look a bit grumpy. The location of the hotel is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven located on the B1 floor, making it nice to easily access snacks.
