Decent hotel for the price they charge with breakfast. Very clean, wish the TV was bigger (prob only 17”), wish the pillows in the bed weren’t so flimsy. Beds and bathroom are a bit dated but nice and clean. Live music in the weekends was very nice and the staff were super friendly. Rooms generally well appointed with a safe and balcony and a/c unit, tv and small fridge

I stayed here the 1st and 2nd of May 2025. The review rating wasn't great, but I wasn't looking for anything special. I was surprised that the hotel rating wasn't higher. Check in was easy and quick. The lifts to the upper floors were quick with a choice of 3. The room was clean, air-condition worked well, bathroom towels were nice and clean and the shower worked well with hot water arriving quickly. The service at the bar was friendly. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Parking was easy, however, I'm sure this will not remain the case during the high season months. The location is excellent very close to the beaches, restaurants and shops. OK, so the down side. There is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. My room was road side and noise from motorbike riders was excessive, but that's not the fault of the hotel, more th idiots riding them. I imagine this will increase with high season. Overall, I think the hotel and service was very, very good and the price was good too.

My friends and I stayed one night in Monte Gordo yesterday for a meet-up. While the hotel itself is a bit outdated and basic – definitely not luxury but clean and comfortable – the bar staff were exceptional. Their cocktail skills were surprisingly good, and they truly elevated the experience. Parking was a struggle, given the limited space for the hotel's size. The biggest disappointment was breakfast; it was a complete fail. I'd strongly recommend skipping it entirely. The food quality, from the anemic bacon to the questionable coffee machines and unappetizing meats, cheeses, and tinned sausages, was poor. However, for a quick stay in Monte Gordo, the location is fantastic. If you just need a clean, comfortable, and functional place to sleep and plan to enjoy the town's offerings, this hotel fits the bill. I wouldn't choose it for a holiday, but it's fine for a short stopover.
