I've just returned having stayed for a few days with my adult children. We absolutely loved our stay. Our rooms on the third floor facing the road, were quiet, clean and very comfortable, especially with the air-conditioning! The swimming pool and surroundings were fabulous, as were the pool staff who ensured safety and made sure that sun loungers were not 'blocked' by guests. We walked everywhere from the hotel, taking various routes a few times a day. The hotel is 18 minutes on foot, to the cathedral and most of the places a tourist might like to visit. Buses and taxis are right outside of the hotel should you not wish to walk. We loved our stay!

Stayed in this hotel as Simple Minds were playing at the Plaza de Toros (15 minute walk). Clean spacious rooms. Nice clean swimming pool. Breakfast was good with a big choice. Murcia in July closes in the afternoon. Very difficult to find anywhere to eat or drink until 20:30. Some nice places to visit in the city. 15-20 minute walk to the cathedral and city centre. I noticed a sign saying the pool doesn't open until late May. Check before travelling if that is important to you.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3.5/5) Stayed in a suite at Hotel Nelva for a recent concert at the bullring – the location was perfect, just a short walk away. The suite itself was spacious and the bed very comfortable, which made for a restful night. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the pool and bar area – a nice spot to relax in the sun. The bathroom was well-appointed with quality products. However, there were some drawbacks that let the experience down. There was no shower gel provided in the shower (just hand soap), and no complimentary water in the room, which you’d expect from a suite. Some minor maintenance issues too – a few lightbulbs needed replacing, suggesting a lack of attention to detail. The chill-out bar was particularly disappointing, with a very limited selection of drinks – no red or rosé wine, only warm white wine, and no brandy or Baileys available. Overall, while the hotel has a lot going for it, especially in terms of comfort and amenities, a few small improvements could really elevate the guest experience. 3.5 stars.
