Have to disagree with some of the negative reviews. If you have limited mobility & struggle with steps, this hotel isn't for you. Otherwise it is a lovely hotel, big spacious clean rooms, good choice of breakfast, brilliant pools. If you want luxury try the pricy Kempinsky next door!
Decent hotel with a little bit outdated rooms, only 1-2 electric outlets in room. This hotel has few strange policies. We paid extra for a dinner in hotel too, but we didn’t have any drinks included with dinner - not even water. You have to pay extra for drinks. Most of hotels give you bathrobe for free but here you have to pay 6€ to rent one. 5-6 hotels are connected so getting to your room can feel like you’re trapped in a maze. Also parking is strange. Small parking next to hotel was full so we had to park our cars on parking that was 2 kilometers away. Employee of hotel led us to parking and that drove us back to hotel. Price is 5€ per day outside of season. I would come back to this hotel just for pools with thermal water (included in price of the room).
My partner and I had breakfast and dinner included during our stay at Hotel Neptun and ate exclusively at the hotel’s restaurant. Unfortunately, after having breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we both suffered from severe food poisoning—so much so that we nearly required hospitalization. We immediately informed management and the restaurant staff about the incident and asked for them to take a closer look at their hygiene standards and to check the food. Unfortunately, our concerns and warnings weren’t taken seriously and the hotel did not take a look at their food or better their hygiene standards. This moldy and sour milk was at the breakfast 2 days (!) after we informed the hotel management and restaurant staff that we had food poisoning. I cannot recommend this hotel because their food and hygiene standards are lacking so much that they’re causing a danger to its customers health. The customers health and well being is not a priority here.
