Hotel Nettuno

Location was great, the dining staff made our stay exceptional, the pool was great and serviced daily, very clean and a well oiled machine. All the staff at the hotel were lovely. We had a fabulous week there. Thank you hotel nettuno .

The pool is beautiful and the restaurant is good, but the rooms are outdated, dusty, and the air conditioning does not work well. Staff is friendly. Bathrooms are massively dated with bad lighting. Bed is comfortable. Beware of late night parties at the pool- music is loud and party will run late. Couldn’t sleep. They offered me to move to another room for the night which I declined due to the fact it would take me forever to pack up. They should just not allow loud music past 10pm out of respect to other hotel guests.

Booked a Seaview room in sunny Catania, dreaming of sipping espresso while gazing out over the Mediterranean. Arrived to find… a lovely view of a wall. Maybe if I stood on the bed and leaned out the window with binoculars, I could spot a postcard of the sea. Enter Alessandro, the receptionist with the charm of a grumpy GPS—constantly rerouting but never helpful. When I gently pointed out the missing sea, he insisted I had booked a “classic” room, as if I’d confused ocean views with vintage disappointment. Room was clean, I’ll give them that. But if you're hoping for Seaview, bring a painting of the sea—or better yet, stay somewhere that doesn't rely on imagination and gaslighting. Would I return? Only if Alessandro starts offering guided tours of the "imaginary amenities." Other staff members were very sweet.
