An Unforgettable Stay for Our Family! Our family couldn't have had a better experience! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and elegant, with the most polite and attentive staff we've encountered in Japan. Our room was spacious, airy, and tastefully decorated. We especially appreciated the traditional Japanese-style bathroom, which included plenty of space and a large soaking tub — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel features two large swimming pools: one outdoor and one indoor (the indoor pool requires an additional fee). There are also excellent on-site restaurants with a variety of delicious options. The beach area is a real highlight — it has a designated, enclosed swimming zone that’s safe for guests, which is important in this region known for stonefish and other venomous sea creatures. The water is crystal clear, and the sand is soft and fine. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are provided for hotel guests. Additional amenities include a large, convenient parking area close to the hotel, as well as a self-service laundry with washing machines available for just 100 yen. We truly had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.

Hotel Nikko Alivila – 5 Stars Hotel Nikko Alivila is a fantastic resort in a prime location, situated mid-island in Okinawa. It offers the perfect balance—easy access to the quieter, scenic northern areas, yet still close enough to Naha for cultural sites like the Okinawa Peace Memorial Museum and some downtown excitement. The hotel itself is packed with amenities and activities. There’s a stunning white sand beach with crystal-clear water, paddleboarding, Sea-Doo rentals, and even tubing behind boats. The pool is spotless, and the tiki bar serves great cocktails in a laid-back setting. We stayed on the top floor of the North Wing, and the sunset views over the chapel were absolutely breathtaking—don’t miss it if you can book this room! Dining is excellent. We tried the Ryukyu/Japanese restaurant on-site, and the food was both authentic and delicious. Just next door, there’s a shopping center with a cozy coffee bar (surprisingly playing country western music!) and some great casual eats like burgers, burritos, and sandwiches. The staff were phenomenal—genuinely attentive, friendly, and abundant. You feel very well taken care of from the moment you arrive. One tip: rent a car. There’s no public transit nearby, and taxis or Ubers would add up quickly. I was a bit nervous about driving on the left side, but it was easy to get used to—and totally worth it for the flexibility. In summary, this hotel exceeded expectations. With its wide range of activities, high-quality dining, incredible staff, and world-class hospitality, I’d put it on par with Hilton, Hyatt, or Westin. A clear 5-star experience.

Returning to Hotel Nikko Alivila was truly a meaningful experience. I got married here 10 years ago, and now, a decade later, I was able to bring my child to see the chapel where we said our vows — such a joyful and touching moment for our family. The room was arranged wonderfully, and the overall stay was very comfortable. The hotel staff were attentive and kind, just like I remembered. This place holds precious memories and continues to be a perfect destination for creating new ones. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, memorable stay.
