Nice place for all uses... like as work and free time
Been here in August 2016. Lovely position. Our room was on the second floor right in front of the sea. Waking up and seeing the sea from your bed is priceless! We paid for the room, the breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good food. Room was clean and spacious but no AC. A bit old fashioned the building, which, in some aspects should definitely be refurbished (old tiles in the bathroom, old hall...). Not great the service at the table: slow waiters, not attentive, often forgetting things... Being said that they are young and not expert one can forgive. Although I would highly recommend a better training. We did not use the pool as the water was too cold. Beach just in front of the sea. Quiet at night (as bars and restaurants are more towards Marcelli). A bit less quite in the morning if your room is next to the stairs. Cappuccino and coffees made fresh on the spot each morning. Excellent the croissants. Nice place if you have a child, all staff is kind and accommodating. Not too formal the dinner. Good value for money.
It used to be a palace, it is only a souvenir of that nowadays. The beach infrastructure and the friendliness of the staff compensated a bit, but impossible to sleep due to heat and light (we had to keep the windows open and the shutters up). Breakfast on the terrace was ok, price corresponding to the standard.
