Beautiful hotel, however for the standard room, I was not impressed. The electrical layout was not thought out. Near the work desk, there is no outlet. You need to unplug the lamp or phone to use the outlet. The closet space is an open area with a rack over the snacks. It is a noisy hotel and corridor chatter was clear and as a doggy hotel the nighttime barking and howling did not help. I was also charged for using the mini bar when I did not. And it took a few calls to sort that out. Beautiful hotel, just in my opinion, not ideal for business stays. And your incident fee, even returned is a bit excessive. And the destination fee cannot be refused, so why not just include it in the price of the room.
The rooms are nice, but its overpriced and loud. If you expect a quiet night's sleep, I recommend you avoid this hotel on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights. It's clear they prioritize parties more than their guests, so don't expect to sleep if you come during an event. Keep in mind that you are within 200 yards of the highway as well, so if the party doesn't keep you up, the highway might.
Overall the rooms are okay… a lot of thought into the room wasn’t done though. Thick curtains cover the AC/Heating unit so in order for you to actually get flow of air in the room you have to lift the curtains onto the window sill area which then the curtains aren’t full closed. There is a fridge in the room but it’s stuff with drinks they wanna sell you that range from $5 for a store brand seltzer can to $16 for a small bottle of champagne/wine so you can’t even put your own stuff in the fridge to keep it cool. Atleast make the prices reasonable if you’re going to fill up the fridge with your own stuff… the parking lot is big but parking spots are very tight. I got there around 6pm and located one spot, I got out of my car and it smelt like cat urine and poop so I decided to get back in my car and wait for someone to leave so I can park somewhere else in the lot. There is a bar at the hotel but they charge you $10 to enter. The night we were there they said the bar was “cash only” cause their credit card system was down, but literally 40 feet away they were able to swipe our card for the security deposit no problem…. The hotel key had to get reactivated multiple times too. The one towel we had in the room smelt like it wasn’t washed. There’s a laundry list of reasons that this place shouldn’t be called “luxury” and they shouldn’t be charging $200+ a night but this is just some of the reasons. Not to mention all the luggage cars to wheel stuff to your room were also not the greatest and the two we used the wheels would lock up and get stuck. Also didn’t like the fact that check out was at noon and like 40 minutes before noon house keeping already had all their stuff and two people at the door waiting to kick us out and start cleaning. We felt very rushed. I wouldn’t return.
