Hotel O. Galogre

The staff were wonderful and friendly. They booked a room for us at the last minute without any reservation. The room was excellent and clean. So was the breakfast. This hotel made us feel welcomed.

Really pretty views and the staff is so nice. The rooms are very cozy.

Terrible Experience at O.Galogre Hotel, Batumi Our stay at O.Galogre Hotel was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. We stayed in the older part of the building, which felt completely neglected. There were no basic amenities like tissues, trash cans outside the bathroom, conditioner, or body lotion. The air conditioning barely worked, and the noise from church bells and traffic made it impossible to sleep with no disturbing interruptions. If you reserve a suite, beware that the A/C is only in the living room, with no A/C in the bedroom, making it very uncomfortable. We had to downgrade our suite to a normal room because the A/C wasn’t working at all. Even then, we had to move rooms twice during our 6-night stay because of persistent issues with the A/C. The bathroom was outdated and rusty, with no handheld showerhead and a malfunctioning soap dispenser. The breakfast was awful – stale food from the previous day, no variety, and no hot milk. Housekeeping was equally poor: towels, cups, and spoons were dirty, and they didn’t refill the toiletries without us having to ask. When we did, they told us to pick it up ourselves from reception and gave us a small bottle. Other issues included faulty locks, no safe locker, unreliable Wi-Fi, and mosquitoes in the room because housekeeping left the window open. This hotel is an absolute nightmare – I highly recommend avoiding it at all costs.
