Ok so some bad points, but more good points. Good Staff, all very helpful friendly from pool bar, restaurant, cleaning lady's and especially reception always happy to help or advise. Set in hill 3.5km out side Sorrento peaceful setting. Free bus in and out of Sorrento which you must book in advance. Village of Sant'Agata short 10mins walk. Bars restaurants shops small but friendly. Small pool area to chill and cool off after days out. Rooms small but modern feel. Overall relaxing location. Bad Food Breakfast no problems. It was the evening meal I found inconsistent. Few nights walk into village for evening meal. Buenos Aires Ristorante I could recommend.
Nice hotel on a hill near a village, which is pleasant. Quiet and helpful staff. The downside is the distance from Sorrento and the difficulty using the buses in the area (30 mins from Sorrento but at least it's not a tourist destination; those are packed)
The hotel itself is tastefully decorated and the rooms are spotless and comfortable and the staff on the whole were pleasant. I made a mistake of asking for an extra tea bag and milk on our first night but the request didn't go down well, we ended up buying our own milk from the village and taking some tea bags from breakfast. Again I've never been to a 4 star with no milk and only 1 tea bag of English tea in the room. The outside space left alot to be desired, neglected and devoid of colour, I don't know when the pictures on the Web site were taken but I'm guessing a while ago. Food certainly wasn't worthy of a 4 star hotel, I've been to a 4 star hotel and there is no comparison, again the pictures on line were nothing like the food we were presented with, we ate out 3 nights in the village to get a decent meal, shout out to da mimi they do great food also the beautiful cafe. If you just want a base for site seeing with breakfast included it may work for you, the hotel is in a nice spot with a little village close by for evening meals.
