Hotel Okresní Dům

We stayed in the hotel between 13 Oct to 23 Oct and the hotel rooms are cozy. The room service is good however the rooms need to be more well lit so any kind of reading becomes easy. The in-room lighting is quite dull. The hotel is located near numerous coffee shops, bank ATM, food joints and tram and bus stop. I would recommend the hotel as value for money.

Hotel is nice and staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean, altough sometimes I was missing brighter lighting. Breakfasts are ok. Only thing missing is restaurant so if you want to eat dinner you need to go to city. Which is no big deal in fact but sometimes would be useful.

Nice and clean, but missing some of the comforts expected of a European hotel. My room was a twin and while the bathroom was really nice, the bed seemed to be lumpy and full of springs. Similarly the grand restaurant area used for breakfast looked superb, but the breakfast itself was poor. From what I’ve been told, it’s on a par if not better than other hotels in the area though so I don’t want to be too critical, considering it’s not expensive either.
