Excellent hotel and value for money. Taxi is less than 1000 yen to most of downtown. Superb breakfast for westerners and Asian folks. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The hotel is very clean. The stuff are very warm, nice, and welcoming. The hotel itself is old but is well maintained. The location is good. And it is quiet. However, the WIFI connection in my room is really poor, and there are not too many options in the hotel to have a good access to WiFi expect from sitting in the lobby or in front of the elevator. So it is why I didn’t give it a 5-star rating.
Correct hotel in dire need of an update. But it is well maintained. The Showa flavor is very present. Excellent breakfast.
