Hotel Oldinn

Our trip was perfect. Milyn (front desk / reception) provided exceptional service. The hotel shuttle driver Jeffrey was very helpful and got us to the train station on time and safely. The only thing I would do differently is stay another 1-2 nights. Highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here June 23rd 2025 for 2 nights. The location is good, right in the old town center. The hotel staff was nice and there is a restaurant at the hotel where breakfast was served. While we were there, the temperatures were around 80 degres Fahrenheit. We stayed at this hotel specifically because it has air conditioning. However, even though we set the thermostat as low as it would go (18 C), the room never did get cool. We called management and they admitted that the AC unit was not cooling properly and was not designed for a "tropical climate". They said not other room would be better as they all have the same AC unit. In addition, I guess we had one of the small room as there was only about 1 foot of space between the foot of the bed and wall. I could barely walk through that space.

Checking in felt like it happened sometime in the 1800s—slow, disorganized, and borderline painful. We were told breakfast was included, only to find out it magically wasn’t when we arrived. Then they tried to charge us for extra breakfasts we never had. Seriously? The room was way smaller than advertised—photos must’ve been taken with a fisheye lens or in another hotel entirely. Also, no one tells you there’s no parking on site. You have to walk 10 minutes, and if you do manage to park, it’ll cost you 33 euros per day. What a joke. Avoid this place if you value your time, money, or sanity. Abdul-level bad. Never again.
