Hotel Oliveto

The room we booked: +Lovely, working air cooling system. Much needed after a hot day out. One of the biggest reasons for me to choose a hotel is working a/c. Even using the sauna didnt bother it. +Bathrobes & slippers -Room felt a little small at times, but manageable. Mostly lack of surface to put toiletries on to was an issue. -There will be large water caused issues in bathroom when theres enough use. Already saw some on the wooden parts door frame. + I dont remember hearing any loud noises that wouldve bothered me. The road infront had somewhat busy & fast traffic but the balcony door was good and blocked it. +/- sauna cubicle is fun but your feet kinda dont get warm since it doesnt warm down there haha. Travelling companion used the bathtub/jacuzzi, apparently he enjoyed it. Others: +They offer lunch too. I saw lasagna on one menu I wish I had ordered, but we were out the whole day +Many options at breakfast +Swimmingpool outside, water was on the colder side but it wasnt a problem. We went on the later hours so we got the pool for ourselves. +Ability to rent e-bikes and normal bikes for a whole day, that was great!! We took e-bikes and travelled around, and went to touristy area where car parking situation was looking pretty bad. Staff explained how to use the bikes and it was very simple. Definetely recommend getting a bike! Just bring a backpack for shopping/necessities

Issues with Pricing & Check-in The price was expensive for the amenities provided. Also, the check-in time was incredibly late. To make matters worse, we had to go to the main hotel to check in. Misleading Breakfast Information Another issue with the same person at reception: when we asked about breakfast, he told us it was free at our hotel and also at the main hotel. However, the next day, after breakfast and during check-out, they tried to charge us 10 euros per person.

Arrived at the hotel early and the room was not ready so we went the pool bar (shed) to have a drink and then walked into town to have lunch. When we came back I asked to see the room before completing my reservation. Adam at the front deck took me to the room and along the way I noticed how dirty the hallways and carpeting was. Room was no better, I ask for a refund and was told no then asked for another room and was told no. The pictures on booking.com do not show what the property actually looks like. Traveler beware we traveled all through Italy and this place was our only disappointment. Adam the person at the front desk was absolutely no help whatsoever and all the other employees just stop there and never said a word. Now they are telling booking.com I never showed up for my reservation when I was there over an hour trying to get it resolved.
