We stayed at Hotel Olympia. The hotel appears to have been renovated. From the outside, it doesn’t look as impressive as the neighboring Olympia Sky, but the rooms are cozy and clean. The service is at a good level, and the prices are reasonable. The hotel has pools suitable even for children, and the entire complex is very nice. The only downside is that even hotel guests have to pay for the outdoor parking, which is a bit disappointing.
Stunning Rooftop Views and Great Atmosphere The rooftop of this hotel offers beautiful scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. I had a wonderful time here enjoying the view with good company. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sun go down while sipping on a drink. The prices are on the higher side, but I’d still recommend coming up for at least one drink. The view alone makes it worth it. There is a rooftop pool, which looks great, but unfortunately it’s only available to hotel guests. It’s a bit of a shame that regular visitors can’t access it.
When I read the reviews on Google Maps, I had really high expectations because there were almost no average or negative reviews. I assumed this hotel would be a great choice. However, the experience was disappointing in several ways: First, panoramic swimming pool was unusable — the water was very cold as the pool is in the shade. It was impossible to swim or even step in comfortably. Second, the breakfast was very average and quite greasy — it was heavy on oil and not what you’d expect for the price of the hotel. Third, the bed was very uncomfortable — you could feel the metal parts beneath the mattress, which made it hard to sleep well. On the positive side, the hotel is well located near the beach. Plus SPA zone is amazing. But be aware — the booking listing says there are dedicated umbrellas and loungers on the beach, but in reality, you have to pay for them. For two people, it ended up costing 25 euros per day. Overall, I was disappointed — the experience didn’t match the glowing reviews I had read.
