This was our second time staying at Orca Praia Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint! From the stunning views to the warm hospitality, everything was perfect. The reception staff, especially a gentleman who checked us in went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. His kindness really made a lasting impression. Breakfast was delightful, with a fantastic selection to start our day, and the highlight of our stay was the thoughtful bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room as a honeymoon surprise. Such a special touch that truly made our trip memorable. Although our stay was a bit short this time, we’re already planning our next visit. The only minor downside is that the rooms could use a little refresh—perhaps a fresh coat of paint and a few small improvements—but nothing that took away from the overall experience. We can’t wait to return for our third visit to this wonderful hotel! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway.

Decent stay, but not quite 4-star level We spent a week at this hotel and overall had a good time. For the price, it’s fair — but I wouldn’t say it’s a true 4-star experience. More like a 3+ star hotel in terms of quality. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, which we appreciated. Breakfast was just okay — not a huge selection and the quality was pretty average, but it was fine to start the day. One thing that bothered us: they asked for a €30 deposit per person at check-in, even though we had already paid for the entire stay in advance. We questioned it, and in the end they didn’t charge us, but it was still an unpleasant surprise. The location is very close to the ocean, which sounds great — but if you're sensitive to noise, the sound of the waves can be pretty loud, especially at night. It took me a few days to get used to the constant rumbling. Parking is €10 per day and spots are limited, so we skipped it. Luckily, we always found free parking on the street nearby. All in all, we had a lovely and active week in beautiful Madeira. The hotel was okay for the price, but if you're expecting true 4-star quality, you might be a bit underwhelmed.

The food is very bad quality and the hotel isn’t clean - The staff were rude and unhelpful, but the real problem was the manager, an extremely unpleasant person who clearly has no idea what hospitality means. Find another hotel there is way better ones on the island
