Hotel Orientale

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Orientale, it was just what we needed after a stressful few days in Bari where we were stranded due to ferry cancellations caused by industrial action. The location is ideal for the town, seafront and buses to the port, and the room was very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the air conditioning was great. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Andreas who helped us sort out our bus ride to the port. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Booked for an overnight stay and could not have been more delighted with the welcome and service we received. Alexander who was the duty manager the night we arrived was very helpful in recommending a restaurant as we arrived several hours later than intended after a delayed/cancelled flight disrupted our day completely. The room was spacious and immaculately clean as were all the public areas in the hotel, the facilities are good and breakfast is plentiful with many homemade treats to tempt the appetite. All the staff with whom we had dealings were not only most helpful and professional but went out of their way to make us feel valued and welcome. Overall this is a lovely old school hotel which values its guests and prides itself on excellent customer service. I not only highly recommend The Orientale but look forward to the next opportunity we will have to stay there.

What a great hotel! Comfortable rooms with aircon if you need it. Comfortable beds spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. Good location. Walking distance to most attractions. The best part is the super friendly helpful staff. You feel so welcome! Happy to recommend to anyone.
