Hotel Origami

I’m currently staying at Hôtel Origami and, overall, the experience has been very good. The hotel is modern, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The room is comfortable, well soundproofed, and decorated in a cozy minimalist style. The location is also excellent — the tram stops right outside and connects quickly to the train station and Strasbourg’s historic center. The staff has been very kind and helpful throughout the stay. I also want to highlight the breakfast buffet, which is varied and offers good-quality products. That said, there were three things worth mentioning: 1. A €100 deposit was required at check-in, which may be important for future guests to be aware of. 2. Toilet paper wasn’t restocked and I had to call reception to get a new roll. 3. At times, we noticed a bad smell in the bathroom, likely coming from the shower drain, even though the space was impeccably clean. Despite these small issues, my stay has been very pleasant. I especially value the comfort, the quietness for resting, and the friendliness of the staff. It’s a hotel I would recommend — good value for money, with just a few minor details that could be improved.

I cannot stress what a great value this hotel is, the staff is friendly and they were the only hotel around that could accommodate a suite for a family of 5. It is very clean, has snack and breakfast options for purchase. Convenient (but unimpressive) location. Things close early in the neighborhood.

Housekeeping Staff are brilliant, and the room was immaculate and clean - but our Double Room didn’t have a fridge. Most of the Reception Team were absolutely excellent apart from one young woman who was unhelpful and had a rude attitude. Breakfast was sparse and expensive so eat out with the Hotel for better value for money. Hotel has excellent bus/tram transport links just around the corner and taking you directly to Station and City Centre. We also tried the great grilled lamb chops at nearly Moroccan Restaurant "Le Najiba".
