We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the fantastic location and the facilities of this hotel. breakfast its really nice!
Our stay at this hotel in the historic center of Avilés was absolutely wonderful. The building is full of charm and character, creating a warm yet elegant atmosphere. Our family room was huge, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, giving us plenty of space to relax. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance. Breakfast was another highlight, great quality food and very well presented. On top of that, the reception staff was extremely kind and welcoming. We also really appreciated the hotel’s efforts toward sustainability, such as reducing plastic use and promoting eco-friendly practices. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we would definitely recommend it, also to families with kids.
Nice location right on the square in Aviles. We were traveling by bike, and you would have thought they had never heard of such a thing. The receptionist was completely unaccommodating, saying there was no where to put the bikes, and refused to even attempt to contact a manager. We were told to lock up our bikes in the public parking garage. In the end we took them to our room, in spite of being told we couldn't. This was a big place, with lots of conference rooms and other options that they could have made available. There was no restaurant open. An employee told us (honestly) that the bar food (snacks really) was not great. Breakfast was very good. You can ask to have some eggs done any way you would like. The room and beds were comfortable. If you think of this as a 3 star hotel (and not 5 star as is stated) then your expectations will be about right. This was the poorest service I've ever had at a 5-star hotel, across multiple continents.
