Hotel Palacio de los Velada

A magnificent hotel. With Super naturally friendly staff, though in truth you don’t ever really need to ask for that much because everything is done as if you have already asked. The location is amazing. Super clean. Highly recommended.

A great hotel, in an beautiful old palace located next to the cathedral. Nice big room (we specifically asked for a quite one and got it), friendly service, top class breakfast. And being in November, it was very affordable. One weak points however: The shower is in the bathtub, and the water temperature is adjusted by tuning separate cold and hot taps, so expect to get frozen then steamed a few times before you get it to the right temperature. Other than that, I warmly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Well situated in the Casco Viejo. The hotel is beautiful and features a large interior patio area restaurant. The rooms were clean and adequate. My only issue is the lack of plugs on both sides of the bed for charging phones etc. At least in our room. Buffet Breakfast was good along with the service. Car parking is available but cannot be guaranteed. Good value for money around.
