Fabulous. One of the best views of any hotel stay ever - the corner room with glass on two sides of the room overlooking the mountains. Fantastic to sit and look at the view or lie in bed and see it. Fabulous pillows! Perfect after the first days on the Camino and a wonderful treat for a day off. Lovely big bathroom and the chance for a good soak in a bath to ease tired muscles. They were very helpful providing cutlery and plates for our take away meals. I went down with a cold and felt pretty rough so it was good to sleep and rest up in a comfortable and cosy room. I’d definitely book again although I wouldn’t want any other room!! Number 210. The best.

This albergue is located inside a luxury hotel — it feels a bit like a necessary add-on rather than a place made for pilgrims. The laundry wasn’t available due to technical issues, and the food offered was quite pricey for those walking the Camino. The bunks were clean and there are plenty of beds, but Wi-Fi was weak in the sleeping pods and mobile signal was basically nonexistent. On top of that, the automatic light (WTF) in the room switches on with movement and ends up waking everyone sleeping on the top bunks, which really takes away from the experience. Overall, one of the weaker stops on our two-week journey..

Solid 3 stars - temperamental WiFi, bizarre lights off at 10pm with no choice or separation by units, and the classic pathetic disposable bed linen typical of Spanish caminos (but odd in the context they are a proper hotel). Beds were comfortable, and lockers were great.
