Hotel Palacio de Valderrábanos

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Its location is unbeatable—right in front of the cathedral, providing a stunning backdrop without the frequent ringing of bells, unlike other European cities. This place truly combines comfort, history, and an incredible location—highly recommended!

One night stay while visiting Avila. Hotel is located within the walls of the city and with some minor construction around, it was a bit challenging finding the entrance as it is not well marked. It appears the reception is temporarily set up in the restaurant. Check in was quick and friendly. Parking is outside the walls and a short distance to get to the hotel. The room was as described. Well appointed with modern furnishings. Bathroom amenities were exceptional with provision of tissues, toothbrushes, shaver and shaving cream, toothpaste, etc. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with several healthy food options. Overall a great stay.

Decent 4 star hotel in an absolutely beautiful city. The location is excellent, with the central town car park only 3 minutes away, so, if you don’t have too much luggage, you don’t have to drive your car into the small streets. The hotel itself is OK, service is good enough, yet not very engaged and breakfast is decent. The rooms themselves are a little dated and the walls are thin, but the rates are also not that high - so, value for money is quite reasonable. We did one night here and saw the town next morning, and for purpose it was definitely good.
